The Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES) 2026 will be held from 17-20 December 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). As a leading platform dedicated to ageing and healthcare innovation, GIES brings together researchers, innovators, healthcare professionals, industry leaders, social service providers, investors, policymakers, caregivers, and members of the public to explore the latest advancements in gerontechnology and age-friendly solutions.

The event showcases cutting-edge innovations that support healthy ageing, independent living, rehabilitation, healthcare, digital health, artificial intelligence, and smart care technologies. Through its exhibition, summit sessions, demonstrations, and networking activities, GIES fosters knowledge exchange and cross-sector collaboration to address the opportunities and challenges of an ageing society. 

The HKUST Center for Aging Science (C4AS) will participate in GIES 2026, showcasing innovative research and technologies developed by HKUST researchers and collaborators. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in ageing science and explore how technology can enhance health, wellbeing, and quality of life across the lifespan.
